A beautiful wedding at an apple orchard overlooking Zion National Park, breathtaking. Since I live 4 hours away, this wedding had its own challenges with the planning process.
One tip for destination weddings: If you can, try to make at least two trips out to the site. The first is to find the perfect place to have the event. The second use for tastings, vendor meetings and one last look at the space to make sure it has everything you thought it had. Remember, the memory can be a tricky thing. Take lots of pictures, from every angle, especially if you can only go once. More on destination weddings in a future post.
